Furnished by Faith is a ministry of Faith United Methodist Church of Spring, TX, that provides furniture and household essentials to formerly unhoused individuals and families who acquire housing. Furnished by Faith works in partnership with Hope Center Houston.
What to Donate
We gratefully accept:
Furnished by Faith collects gently used furniture of all types, including mattresses. Furniture can be delivered to us, or pickups can be arranged. We also collect small household items such as bedding (sheets and comforters), bath towels, dish towels, area rugs, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, coffee makers, crock pots, toaster ovens, microwaves, etc.
Furnished by Faith also provides a “Starter Kit” to all those who receive housing. A Starter Kit includes a trash can, trash bags, a laundry basket, detergent, dryer sheets, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. Ongoing donations are also accepted for these kits.

Smaller items can be dropped off at the Hope Center Wed – Fri, 9-12. Please specify that your donations are for Furnished by Faith.

Monetary donations are always accepted. Checks should be made to Faith UMC with Furnished by Faith in the Memo.

Receipts for all donations are available upon request.
In addition to donations, Furnished by Faith is always in need of help picking up or delivering furniture, also known as Muscles to Move. If you have time to help, please contact us. We are flexible, so we can work around your schedule.
